The Google Maps website allows visitors to view the world in three modes: maps, satelite views and hybrid, which superimposes some map elements over satellite views. The system is upgraded frequently. The features available for Mexico, have increased greatly. You can go to directly to the website and begin exploring by clicking the Google Maps logo.
Individual Sites
I have located satellite views of 97 individual places in Mexico. Links to these views have been organized into 5 pages. There are 4 alphabetical pages plus a page of detailed sites in Mexico City and the nearby ruins of Teotihuacan.
Using Google Maps
Click this symbol to remove the white area on the left and widen the map.
Use the zoom bar at the top left of the window to move in and out. You can slide the movable bar, click on a level of magnification, or click the + and - symbols at the top and bottom.
Double click any spot to center it.
Scrolling is much smoother with Google Maps than with sites such as Map Quest and Expedia.
You can use the arrows at the top left and watch the map smoothly scroll. Better yet, click and hold any area of the map and drag it in any direction.
